Two-dose vaccine ‘essential’ to prevent delta variant of coronavirus: EMA

The European Union’s medical watchdog said on Wednesday that two doses of vaccine approved by vaccine makers were “essential” to provide maximum protection against the rapidly contagious Delta variant of coronavirus. According to the European Medicines Agency-

“Preliminary information indicates that two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine may be needed to provide adequate protection against the delta variant of the coronavirus.”

“In this case, it is important to take the recommended tick course to get the highest level of protection,” they added.
